Kumsheen Rafting Resort Mountain Biking

Come and enjoy what those who have experienced Kumsheens Ride and Raft Package know as “the perfect day”. Start off by mountain biking down to the Thompson river, fill up on a hearty lunch then jump on a whitewater raft for the afternoon. Returning to the resort after your adventurous day provides a relaxing atmosphere for you and your friends to grab a bite to eat, soak in the outdoor hot tub, and perhaps even stay overnight on the campground or in a furnished cabin tent or teepee. J-S  will be your guide for the day. J-S has recently finished developing the new Bike & Raft Tour. Kumsheen is the only rafting company in Canada offering a program such as this. Your day will start with a shuttle ride up Botanie Mountain, located at the very junction of the Thompson and the Fraser Rivers in the Scarped mountain range. You will get dropped off and momentarily enjoy the incredible view overlooking the ridgeline trail that we will be following. From there it’s game on; First you  will descend onto the Devil’s Leap trail for a 4000 vertical foot drop on an epic and uncharted single track run all the way back down to water level.  Then hop back in the truck, drive up the mountains again for A second run of the day. This second run has yet to be named, as it is 2500 vertical feet of pure freeride. It’s wide, steep and open to your interpretation. This run will take you right down to the river again where lunch is ready for you and conveniently meet with your raft.
