The history Hilltop Farms has in feeding Families for generations is one of the reasons why Mike and Jewel Rice love what they do so much. The history on these parts go back thousands of years with First Nations Peoples, The Farm itself was created in the 1800s. The Tiet family, which inhabited this farm for a greater portion of its existence are a known family in the pioneer times of Spences bridge area. An original country home built in 18-- is still in use today, a pioneer cemetery and some original fruit trees assist in retaining this farms historic charm.
