Rambo First Blood Film Location : Bridge to Portland Ore. Coquihalla River, Hope BC
Many locations in Hope BC used in the filming of Rambo First Blood can be found in the same state as the 1981 block buster hit staring Sylvester Stallone. One example of this the "Rambo Bridge" in Hope BC crosses the Coquihalla River on Kawakawa Lake Road. The Scene in the Film after the sheriff of the town meets Rambo for the first time then drops him off on the other side of the bridge to send him on his way. When Rambo turned around to walk back towards the town the sheriff was trying to rid him from, he was arrested and that's when the carnage begins. To view this film site and many others visit the Hope Visitor Information Center for directions and information regarding this and other Rambo Film Locations.
This photos known as the In the film was taken 24 years later during the same time of the year Rambo was filmed. Weather Conditions were similar except the snow line on the mountain was slightly lower. Visit Hope BC!
