The Fraser Canyon has many Museums and Art Galleries to visit showcasing amazing and interesting local history and beautiful hand made local art. While visiting the Canyon drop in on some of these centers to discover the history and arts of the Fraser Canyon.
Hope
The Hope Museum is open May through September. This Museum depicts the
various periods of Hope's development. Displays include Native Artifacts,
early logging equipment, and 5 historical settings including a parlor,
kitchen, school room, and a blacksmith shop. Admission is by donation. The
Hope Museum is located on 919 Water Ave Hope BC, just of the Trans-Canada

kilby museum and historic site
Kilby Historic Site a 1920s Fraser
Valley living history site with costumed interpreters. This 5 acre BC
Heritage attraction includes our 1906 General Store Museum, Manchester House
Hotel & Post Office, as well as friendly farm animals and orchard
playground. Visit our home-style restaurant and unique gift shop. Open Daily
11am - 5pm, May to September and Thursday to Monday 11 am to 4 pm in April,
September, October, November and December. Harrison Mills is also home to
the Kilby Park, located within walking distance of the historic site at the
confluence of both the Fraser and Harrison rivers, on Harrison Bay. The park
features our scenic 22 site campground, a day use area, sandy beaches,
nature trails and a boat launch which is open year. For more information

Lytton
The Lytton Museum and Archives is a Contained in a ex-company house on
Fraser Street next door to the public swimming pool and visitor info centre.
This building was built by the Canadian National Railway as a residence in
1942. It was acquired by the Village fifty years later and was
renovated in the early 1990s into its present state. The Museum officially
opened on July 1st 1995. The Museum is run entirely by volunteers, with help
during the summer months from students on work programs. The Curator /
Archivist during the formative years of the late 1990's to date has been
Dorothy Dodge.
Yale
The Yale Museum in Yale BC depicts the history of Yale displaying
historical information and artifacts from the gold rush, railway and the
development of the Fraser Canyon over the last 200 years. This Museum has a
historic church, Chinese rail workers memorial, gold panning and more. This
Museum is open from Spring until Fall.

Agassiz

This Museum is open from May long weekend until mid September, 7 days a week 10 am - 4 pm This Museum features Historical artifacts and memorabilia of Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, and the Harrison Lake area. This museum is located in BC's oldest standing Railway Station. This Museum is located at pioneer park in downtown Agassiz. No admission in charges and donations are accepted. This Museum has an onsite Caboose and other interesting rail equipment available for great photo opportunities. Phone (604)-796-3545
Harrison
Beautiful Art Gallery at Harrison Lake featuring beautiful locally made arts. The Ranger Station Art Gallery organize the yearly Harrison Festival of Arts. This Art Gallery is located in an old Ranger Station right on Harrison Lake.
