North Bend School house community center

North Bend Community Center is located in the Old School House for North Bend Primary School. Close to a decade ago the Elementary School was closed and moved to Boston Bar, since then the Local Citizens of North Bend and Boston Bar have worked to convert this building into a multi use community center. The school house is surrounded with a large parcel of land. If you are traveling with your dog this is a great place to let your dog go for a run! Also on the grounds are swing sets, benches picnic tables and a outdoor covered gathering and play area. The park has recently had some face lifts with some gardens along the front and entrance to the building and a community garden in the fields. Inside you will find a Thrift Store, Health and Wellness Store, Community Activities Gathering Rooms, Seniors Center, Museum and Archives and more! The building has recently been retro fitted for wheelchair lifts making this facility more accessible. Located on Chomaux Road in North Bend BC just minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway.
