“No toll on the Coquihalla Highway good news for Fraser Canyon”
 


September 26th 2008 Premier Gordon Campbell announced there would be no more toll’s collected on the Coquihalla Highway, allowing a more steady stream of traffic to freely come and go from the interior of British Columbia! “Such an immediate change has had it’s critics” says Riley Forman creator of the website www.travelthecanyon.com. “The Fraser Canyon will now be safer then ever, we will see a significant reductions in transport trucks through our amazing scenic corridor.” Riley also explains how the Fraser Canyon more fuel economical then the Coquihalla and with rising gas prices travelers can get the scenic route and save in fuel costs.
